DRIVER PROFILE - SHAWN MAGEE - #22 MINI STOCK
ook at the motor at all – changed the oil and checked the plugs, that’s about it. Two laps into the first night of racing – in fact, just 2 laps into hot laps – the engine let go. I suspect there was a mouse in there somewhere! So, blown motor. Had 2 weeks to build another one, which we did with a couple of hours to spare before the race on the 3rd of June. That night went pretty well, the motor was strong, but for various reasons, we didn’t get the car setup at all. Extremely loose in and no way to adjust it. That’s a lot of fun, but it’s NOT the fast way around the track.|
