The SKL driver profile – Pro Truck #38 – Rick Kucher
Q. The Pro Truck division has grown so dramatically, are you enjoying the division, competitors? A. The Pro Truck Division is the place to be. We as a team are having so much fun. Everyone in the class races hard & at the end of the day we can all say we had fun. Q. Give everybody the story behind the color scheme this year. A. 2011: "Racing For Life".
Q. Your truck has been working very well this year, where do you find information on set up, internet? Magazines, competitors? A. Honestly....I do not know, I was just told to shut up & drive. My dad spends hours playing around with set up. As well, Alex Leschenko has been a part of our program for years. Q. Who is on your pit crew and do you have set roles for everybody? A. It starts with my dad (Phil) as Crew Chief, Tire Pressures is Carla's job, Gas man is Decoy, Tire Man is Walter & Gasman is Bruce. Q. I saw an in car camera view of you racing and it showed you using one hand for steering, a habit you have developed? Are you a two footed driver? A. WOW, an in car camera view???? Hopefully I was waving with all 5 fingers? Yes, I'm a 1 handed & a 2 footed driver. The one handed thing I just did on my own, being a 2 footed pedal squisher, I learnt that from dad. I wish to thank each & every one of my sponsors, my family, friends & last but not least my crew. Without everyone's support I know I would not be out here. This year I have met a lot of people by going Pink, Thank You for the loud CHEERS to all of those who are survivors & fighters! Thank You. TH Points Standings (As of July 16th, 2011)
