Les Harding, or "Stinger" as his friends like to call him, is 38 years old and the Regional Operations Manager for Ritchie Bros Auctions in Saskatoon. He has been driving stock cars for 6 years.

Les is married to Shannon and has a son Joey. Les took 2006 off from driving to help Shannon with her mini sprint program in Estevan, SK. and North Dakota. He also developed an additional sprint car for son Joey who started his first race in 2006 at the age of 14.

Racing gives Les a chance to forget about work and enjoy the adrenaline, competition, and good times with friends. Since his wife and son have sprint cars, racing is something that they can do as a family.

Les enjoys traveling (anywhere warm), playing hockey, golf, and being with his family.

Les will be working hard to accomplish his goal of capturing the Western Elite Rookie-of-the-Year Trophy.
